Did it hurt?
Yes! It’s a needle etching into your skin for hours at a time! The discomfort fades in and out, and I find it’s easy to keep myself distracted by other things. The most painful spots for me have been my elbow and elbow ditch, armpits, palms and the hour glass on my tummy. Everyone has different experiences.

Whats the longest you’ve gotten tattooed at once?
6 hours on my knee and 6 1/2 on my back.

Who designed your tattoos, what do they mean?
Most of my tattoos were my own ideas and custom drawn by the tattoo artists. They all have a personal meaning except one or two that were done more so for the experience. I have written about their significance in more detail in several magazine and book articles, mostly in my own column in Ink Style magazine and New York Biker.

Why do you get tattoos?
I have been fascinated and visually impressed by tattoos and body modifications since 1995. I think I was influenced by the music I listened to and the research I did when the internet became available to me. It’s an art, it’s a culture, it’s an unspoken bond. It’s a visual collection of experiences, a sense of pride, and a testimony to willpower and commitment. It’s sexy. It’s a way to be a part of the history, the passion, and the like-minded outcasts. It is an untouchable method of expressing yourself.

Do you have any piercings?
At the moment, I don’t have any! I have four holes in each ear that I don’t often put jewelry in (the bottom holes were stretched to 0 gauge in high school and college). In the past, I have had: both eyebrows, center & bottom right side of my lip, helix, handweb, septum, right nostril, navel, and two in my tongue simultaneously. They have all been removed for various reasons.

How long have you been modeling?
As an infrequent hobby, for many years. I started actively pursuing modeling in Fall 2009.

When are you visiting ___________?
When my work takes me there! I am well traveled. Most recently, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Next, Panama. In 2009 I was in Italy, May 2010 I was in Vancouver, January 2012, Denmark. Last year I was seen traveling throughout California, Arizona, Chicago, Vegas, Philly, Boston, and Miami. So who knows!

When is your birthday?
July 22, 1981. I am a Cancer/Leo cusp, born on my mother’s birthday. It was 79 degrees with a light breeze that afternoon. Absolutely no other significant births, deaths, or events occurred that day.

Where do you live?
Brooklyn, New York City
